Winter Newsletter

Kia ora

Welcome to the winter newsletter from the St Andrew’s Centre. As I write this it is an incredibly blustery winter’s night which has got me counting down until spring! (Only 5 weeks to go) Less for me as I am on my way to Europe for an early summer fix. Read on to find out more about plans for the office while I’m on leave, and the latest news and events.

-Laetitia and the Team

Laetitia on Leave

I will be on leave from the 25th of July – 21 August, during that time Jillene and Hilary will be looking after the office and centre. Still get in touch via email reservations@standrews.org.nz or phone 472 9211 for any reservation or general inquiries.

Staff Changes

We say also say goodbye this week to Lily Norman and Peter Cowley. Lily has been working as facilities assistant since January 2017 helping to keep us looking good, preparing the rooms for our clients and tidying up at the end of the day. Peter has been working as the custodian since before the centre opened, keeping the building well maintained and also helping with technological support. We are very grateful for their hard work and contributions to the Centre, and wish them well.

We are pleased to welcome Hamish Dick and Elissa Lim who will be joining the team as facilities assistants.

Catering

We received feedback last year that many of you would prefer if there was an option for St Andrew’s to organise catering. So we are happy to be able to tell you that this is a service that we now offer. If you would like more information about this let us know at the time of your booking inquiry. There is still the option for self-catering and to make your own arrangements.

Events and concerts

We have plenty of upcoming concerts and events over the next couple of months which we would love you to join us for.

 Every Wednesday at 12.15pm

St Andrew’s hosts a free lunchtime concert. We are so blessed to have so many share their gift of music with us.

29 July – 3 pm The Sound of Wellington Youth Music concert

Music Futures helps young musicians from the greater Wellington region to realise their potential. We provide financial awards, performance opportunities and chances to meet some of New Zealand’s finest professional musicians.

31 July 6pm Beautiful Mind Concert

around the world through diverse cultural activities. BMC has been building new culture of love and reconciliation not only with artists in Korea but with all artists of the world regardless of race, nationality and physical

condition.
